Coach Tom Sutliffe has been coaching football since 2008. He started as a youth coach with the Surprise Falcons before starting the Surprise Sharks football organization. He then progressed to Valley Vista High School where he started as a DB/WR coach on the freshman level. His second year he was made the freshman head coach which he did for 2 years then became the varsity offensive line coach. He finished his last 2 years at Valley as the Varsity RB coach. Tom Grew up in the valley and met his wife, Allison, at Apollo High School which they both graduated from. They have 2 sons Hunter (19) and Garrett (18). Tom is an operations manager at Desert Supply Co, an artificial grass and putting green supply wholesaler. Allison is a teaching assistant at Legacy Traditional Elementary School. Hunter works at UPS. Garrett is a freshman at Buena Vista University in Iowa where he is a scholarship football player. They also have 2 foster children (ages 1 & 4) they are hoping to adopt in the coming months.
